Event Description
What is at the heart of a great science curriculum? How can we inspire all pupils to engage with science as future citizens of a technological world? How can we develop an effective curriculum that delivers progression in both working scientifically skills and content? How does the vision for the science curriculum influence and support in evaluating current science provision?
This cross phase course will support subject leaders to answer these questions and begin to formulate ideas about curriculum intent and implementation for their setting. Key speakers for this course include Louise Archer, UCL Institute of Education, Marc Neesam, International Primary curriculum, Naomi Hiscock, Primary Science Education Consultancy, Helen Harden, University of York and Tony Sherbourne from Mastery Science.
