Event Description
This half-day course will enable practitioners to understand the principles of applying mindfulness strategies to support children in today’s society.

Practitioners will explore the benefits of using mindfulness in the Early Years classroom and how this practice can be used to help support children’s emotional wellbeing and resilience.

Learning outcomes
By attending the training, participants will:

  • explore the benefits of applying ‘mindfulness’ strategies in the EY classroom to support children’s emotional wellbeing

  • take part in activities to practise and apply ‘mindfulness’ approaches investigate props and resources that could be used to enhance children’s emotional wellbeing
