Event Description
This course is for maintained schools who are considering converting to academy. One of the biggest areas of change will be to the school's finance team and its systems. This course will look at these key areas of change including the key requirements of the Academies Financial Handbook, internal and external reporting requirements, system requirements and key roles and responsibilities within academy trusts. This course will also include an overview on funding for academy trusts.

  • understand some of the key differences between maintained schools and academy trusts
