This session will focus on improving leadership and management effectiveness with regard to working with governors and managing staff.
Please note that this session is part of a rolling programme which does not have to be completed in order. However in the past delegates have found it beneficial to attend all sessions in order to make learning connections between topics and to build professional relationships with assistant and deputy headteacher colleagues.
By the end of the course participants will have:
an increased understanding of the roles and responsibilities of governing bodies an increased understanding of school leaders’ roles and responsibilities, with regard to performance appraisal
an increased knowledge of strategies to develop staff through performance appraisal systems and practices
