Event Description
This course offers an introduction to learning mentoring and would benefit anyone new to the role or considering becoming a learning mentor. A mentor plays a key role in helping a child to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Schools that have successfully implemented the skills of learning mentors have seen the positive impact on pupil self-esteem, behaviour and attendance which in turn can help raise attainment and close the gap for PPG and disadvantaged pupils.
