Google Classroom is a powerful, free collaboration platform for pupils and teachers. It is rapidly gaining popularity in schools around the world and provides a way of collaborating, sharing, handing out and taking in digital work. Through Google Classroom users can ask questions, make announcements and so much more, yet it is easy and fun to use. Whether delegates are using Chromebooks in their school or not, Google Classroom can greatly improve their digital workflow.
This course is aimed at teachers or support staff who are new to the platform and would like to use it in their lessons or find out more about how it works. Delivered by a Google for Education Certified Trainer, delegates will have hands-on experience of using both Google Classroom as well as some other apps from the G Suite for Education.
By attending the course, participants will:
- experience Google Classroom from a pupil/student perspective
- learn how to make and use their own classes within Google Classroom
- explore how other apps from G Suite for Education can integrate with Google Classroom
- consider how Google Classroom might improve digital workflow in their school
Delegates should bring a memory stick to take away the digital resources that will be provided on the course. To use Google Classroom in your school you would need G Suite for Education set up.
