Event Description
Having effective formative assessment embedded in classroom practice is essential for all pupils making progress through the curriculum, and can have particular impact on those pupils who may be overcoming barriers of disadvantage.

Teaching and learning assistants (TLAs) are well-placed for shaping, reinforcing and supporting key principles of a learning classroom and the attitudes and beliefs pupils have about themselves and their learning journey.

This two-part live webinar aimed at TLAs will explore the use of language that supports a positive learning culture and relate this to the key underlying principles of Assessment for Learning and how these can be effectively implemented in the classroom.
