Training objectives
Learning outcomes
The aims of this course are to:
- understand concepts of safeguarding and child protection and how they relate to your job
- recognise the indicators of abuse and understand the process for reporting suspected abuse
- understand the process for reporting allegations made against staff
- develop knowledge of safe working practice including online safety
- develop knowledge of Herts Safeguarding Children Partnership (HSCP) procedures and website support

This course is only suitable for practitioners working in group settings (i.e. NOT suitable for childminders).
