Event Description
The Herts for Learning science team are pleased to offer three live webinar sessions to update and support science leaders and teachers with the challenges following lockdown. A chance to relight your teaching, re-inspire and equip your staff. All sessions will provide time for delegates to participate in a question and answer session. Delegates unable to attend the live presentation will be able to access a recorded version.

In this second session, Ed Walsh will explore ‘Bridging the gaps in practical science in Y10’ following remote teaching.
Ed is a curriculum developer with experience of working with teachers, schools, local authorities and national agencies, and has experience in writing and editing materials for publication. He has presented for STEM Learning, worked with AQA and is the co-creator of the ASE Making it Happen – practical work resources

• What strategies department could adopt to ensure both the experience and skill development that students will need for success in exams?
