Event Description
How skilled are you at telling stories to children? Are you confident in encouraging children to tell stories? Storytelling provides opportunities to develop skills across all areas of learning in the EYFS.

This training will help practitioners to further develop their skills in creating engaging opportunities for storytelling.
Training objectives

  • to support practitioners in becoming confident storytellers

  • to equip practitioners with exciting ideas to share with their cohort to promote storytelling as a tool to develop skills across the EYFS

  • explore the importance of storytelling as a tool to promote further learning and development

  • discover how to establish effective, exciting and stimulating storytelling activities across the EYFS
