With the shift to statutory status requirements for RSHE, PSHE has increased status in schools. This three-day course (one day per term) prepares leaders for their new role and develops subject specific expertise in the role of the PSHE/RSHE subject lead in this new context.
Whether you are a new or experienced PSHE/RSHE leader in primary, secondary or special school settings, this course will ensure participants are equipped to ensure the curriculum meets the mandatory requirements and provides a rich and varied curriculum experience to meet pupil needs to fulfil their subject leader role. From identifying best practice in delivery of core teaching, assessment and monitoring of PSHE to ensuring that their school is inspection ready, this course will provide delegates with the confidence they need to lead their school’s implementation of quality RSHE evolution.
