This live webinar will focus on the Easy Tracking assessment progress tracking system for SIMS and will address some common themes identified where schools have not been able to make effective use of the SIMS assessment tracking tools (Key Stages 1 and 2).
During the webinar delegates will be presented with succinct advice on many aspects of the new assessment progress tracking system from the Herts for Learning Assessment and Data Management Services teams.
One of the key benefits of this live webinar will be clarity around the processes for making assessment judgements. It will also provide an insight into the common issues encountered by users and how to overcome them. There will be opportunities to have questions answered.
Training objectives
- to be aware of the processes for making assessment judgements
- to understand the Easy Tracking assessment progress tracking system
- to be aware of common issues and how to overcome them including: set up and installation problems, reporting (in particular historical data), entering prior attainment and Year 1 starting point and estimated KS1 data
Learning outcomes
- appropriate delegates will be able to make sound assessment judgements using the progress tracking system
- appropriate delegates will be able to successfully overcome installation issues
- appropriate delegates will be able to successfully run the HfL Core Subjects report
- appropriate delegates will be able see accurate outcomes using correctly entered prior attainment and Year 1 entry point data
- appropriate delegates will understand the requirement for an estimated KS1 data entry and will be able to enter this
