The webinar is aimed at managers to help understand the impact of long COVID and some of the complicated issues that arise from managing COVID related absences.

In order to help us ahead of the webinar, please can you let us know two most important questions in relation to the topic of covid or long covid. Questions will need to be submitted no later than 01/02/22 to clair.hingston@hertsforlearning.co.uk. Please note that we cannot address specific issues relating to specific colleagues as part of this webinar, these should be directed to the HFL helpdesk for HR support.


Training objectives
Learning outcomes

  • increase awareness of long COVID as a condition

  • explore long COVID, disability and considerations under the Equality Act 2010

  • look at ways to best manage those affected by long COVID or more general COVID absences in terms of the schools absence management processes and protocols

  • review some recent case law around the topic of COVID
