A session that does what it says on the tin and is specifically designed for schools registering early career teachers (ECTs) with the Hertfordshire Appropriate Body Service.

This face to face briefing will provide an opportunity for delegates to gain an overview of the 2021 statutory regulations. It will include essential guidance to ensure new induction tutors feel both prepared and supported for changes to roles, responsibilities, processes and overall expectations of the two-year induction period.

By the end of the session, delegates will have:

• gained a basic understanding of the 2021 statutory induction regulations and requirements of the induction period


• familiarised themselves with induction processes and procedures within Hertfordshire's Appropriate Body Service


• considered roles and responsibilities


• discussed examples of best practice, unpicked scenarios and benefitted from Q&A

This briefing is included as part of registration with the Hertfordshire Appropriate Body Service and is fully funded.
