Event Description
A course for those who have created their own SIMS reports but would like to know more. This course is designed for users with previous experience in building reports, who would like to develop further skills with custom templates and photo reports. At the end of the course, delegates will be able to email the reports they have created back to their school, for use in their SIMS database.

Learning outcomes
By attending the course, participants will:


  • further develop reporting techniques covered in the effective reporting – the basics course

  • learn how to create mail merge letter reports for specific groups of pupils/students

  • create complex reports with cross modular links, to enable reporting on a variety of areas in SIMS such as SEN medical Info, exclusions etc

  • create report templates to include pupil/student photographs and customise existing complex report templates (i.e. data collection reports)

  • design analysis reports to enable reporting to SLT Governor’s etc. on school statistics and percentages
