Event Description
This practical short-day course, with a working lunch, will explore the potential of using iPads to support learners with SEND. It is ideal for those who work with children or young people with SEND on a day-to-day basis and are looking for ways to increase access to a broad and balanced curriculum and overcome particular barriers to their learning.

The course will be very hands-on, and we will be exploring an engaging and exciting range of free and low cost apps and built-in iPad functionality.
We will look at how to make iPads inclusive, using simple accessibility settings, and apps specifically designed for learners with SEND. We will also look at how 'general' educational apps can be used in alternative ways to support individual pupils as they work in the classroom, utilising sound recording, images and video.

Delegates will leave full of simple, practical ideas to support the individuals they work with in their setting.
