With just half a term to go schools will want to be reassured they have met all the requirements and been informed by best practice to deliver the new curriculum. This cross-phase digital conference will enable subject leads and members of SLT to consider further development to achieve high-quality teaching and effective learning outcomes. There will also be attention given to Ofsted expectations.
Rachael Baker, Senior RSE Specialist at the Sex Education Forum will be delivering an online keynote focusing on quality teaching of puberty and sex across the key stages. Rachael will also address inclusion and meeting the needs of learners with additional and unique needs.
Dr Kathy Weston, author and broadcaster, will deliver an online keynote looking at the importance of parental engagement. Kathy is passionate about parent-teacher partnerships and supports schools to find practical ways of developing these relationships.
There will be a number of workshops available online which will include case studies from schools to share their best practice. In addition, Robyn Steward, autism trainer, consultant, author and broadcaster, will be delivering a workshop focusing on teaching autistic children elements of RSHE.
