BUCKS EDUCATION PARTNERSHIP IS PROUD TO BE PART OF HARTS FOR LEARNING

This session is aimed at school leaders, in a new or developing roles, to help build upon their understanding of their leadership responsibilities in people management topics - and to know sources of support and guidance to access.

The workshop will cover principles around the ‘employment relationship’, high-performing teams and the stages of team development, common workplace HR issues that can arise, and work through scenarios for table discussions around approaches, tips and techniques.

We will also provide information around related services that are available from Herts for Learning HR Services.

Learning outcomes
By attending this course, delegates will:


  • understand their main responsibilities with respect to people management topics

  • consider common individual and team needs and issues that arise in employment relationships, and skills & techniques they can use

  • work through scenarios in groups on common HR topics

  • understand sources of information and support to access – and to take back to their settings
