Event Description
The RSHE curriculum is crucial in helping children develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes they need to navigate the very complex world they live in. We want children to be aware of the positive and exciting opportunities life holds but alongside this prepare them for the challenges and risks they will face. This course is designed to help NQTs deliver this exciting curriculum with confidence within in a classroom environment that enables all children to access the learning and build their skills and understanding.
Learning outcomes
The aims of the training are to:
• overview the content of the RSHE curriculum and the associated skill set the learning develops
• examine ways of making the curriculum fully inclusive to meet the needs of all pupils
• identify how to create a safe learning environment
• explore ways to make learning fun and interactive
• consider how pupils’ work can be recorded and how learning can be assessed
• prepare to manage any difficult questions
