Event Description
In this session, the principles of developing the quality of education will be explored within the context of leadership and the role of a deputy or assistant headteacher. Delegates will also improve their feedback skills and increase their expertise in supporting long term continual professional development.

Participants are asked to consider how values, vision and aims should guide the work of the school and to share views on the school’s core purpose.
We explore strategies for developing and improving the quality of education. Using Ofsted criteria, strategies for monitoring and evaluating the quality of education are examined focusing particularly on the deputy’s role. We then consider how to provide effective feedback.
