Event Description
‘Summer success in mathematics’ is a structured programme that helps leaders and teachers prioritise and focus on securing crucial learning.

Through the learning platform, leaders and teachers will have access to professional development webinars and support resources. Each is recorded if ‘attendance’ at the live event is not possible. The leadership focus starts and ends the term (28th April and 7th July). The individual year group webinars run in the weeks beginning 10th and 17th May.

New diagnostic assessment resources will support each teacher to identify key focuses and to build a plan to maximise the remaining teaching time.

End of year ‘milestones’ and assessment materials will help leaders and teachers build profiles of learning. This will support transition and further planning adaptations for the next academic year.

*All Hertfordshire schools will be provided with a £200 funded subsidy*

Additional Information
Only subject leaders will be required to attend the leadership webinars taking place on 28th April and 7th July 2021.

Unless they have a year group class, subject leaders will not need to attend the year group sessions taking place on:

11/5/21 – Year 1
12/5/21 – Year 2
13/5/21 – Year 3
18/5/21 – Year 5
19/5/21 – Year 6
20/5/21 – Year 4

Please book one place per school in the name of the subject leader. Following booking, the subject leader will be sent a link to the Learning Platform where they can then register their year group teachers. The teachers can then register for the relevant webinar.

All communication after the initial CPD booking will be managed via the Learning platform.
