Event Description
Join us at our annual school sixth form conference, which will allow an opportunity for sixth form leaders to rethink how education works in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. In response to school requests, our post-16 conference brings together national experts in post-16 education to help school leaders ensure their sixth form provision remains high quality, successful and sustainable.

The disruption to sixth form studies will be addressed at the conference, with a key focus on improving learner engagement and ensuring student learning is back on track in the academic year. The conference will provide school leaders with an opportunity to hear from curriculum experts on how to prioritise key strategies, spot gaps in pupil knowledge, and achieve greater levels of attainment.

Curriculum news and updates – Kevin Gilmartin – Post-16 Specialist, Association of School and College Leaders (ASCL). The session will include outcomes from the post-16 qualifications at Level 3 consultation, and implications to Sixth form leadership.

Keynote speakers include:

Rachel MacFarlane - Director of Education Services, Herts for Learning and member of the Rethinking Assessment group
James Handscombe - Principal at Harris Westminster Sixth Form, London
Lisa Goodship – Education Consultant
