A high-quality learning environment is fundamental to strong Early Years learning.

This training will support staff who are both new and experienced working in Early Years. After the challenges of the last year, this professional development will refresh practitioner knowledge to ensure a high-quality EYFS provision is consistently provided. This training will develop staff understanding of Early Years provision in relation to establishing an effective daily routine and setting up an irresistible learning environment.

This half-day session will combine the sharing of successful routines, exploring ways to establish engaging learning environments and strategies for maintaining high-quality provision. It will ensure delegates feel confident in establishing an awe-inspiring and engaging learning environment to meet the needs of every child.
Training objectives

  • reflect on daily routines and how this contributes to children’s learning and development

  • understand the importance of organising a high-quality learning environment

  • understand how to be reactive to children’s needs and interests to enable development and progress

  • develop an understanding of continuous provision planning to ensure every child's needs are met
