Event Description
The aim of the session is to provide schools with the opportunity to work on their preparation for this year’s autumn census, to ensure they claim 100% of the funding in 2022/23. The training will include all the latest and most up-to-date information from the Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

There is an alternative session on Wednesday 22 September 2021 from 1:30-3pm, but this training will not be repeated before the completion of the autumn census so we strongly recommend that all schools send a representative to either of these sessions.
Training objectives

  • understand the implications of the census data to 16-19 funding

  • understand the data required for the census, and how to sense check and quality assure the data in order to avoid errors

  • review how post-16 staff work together to ensure the correct learner/course data is entered to claim 100% funding
