Event Description
The impact of Covid-19 on many disadvantaged children has been stark, and has highlighted the importance of carefully planning and evaluating effective strategies to improve outcomes for those students.
This programme will support pupil premium leaders in creating or refining a clear planning framework for the strategies their school is using, which will go beyond completion of the DfE required template.
The programme will also address how to implement the plan effectively, making it a living document which takes account of what is happening in our schools on a day-to-day basis and allows leaders to know which are the next steps to take.
Learning outcomes
- understand how to identify the barriers to learning for disadvantaged students
- explore the most effective strategies to overcome those barriers
- produce an impactful pupil premium strategy
