In this live webinar we will cover the essential information required for the effective management of asbestos in schools. Covering risks and locations and type of material used in schools, HCC policy and guidance, asbestos surveys and understanding your data, asbestos management plans, the permission to work process and annual visual inspections.
Learning outcomes
By attending the course, participants will:
- be able to implement effective practical management in their workplace including the permission to work procedure, annual inspections and reporting asbestos related incidents
- understand their role and responsibilities in relation to managing asbestos where it remains in situ be aware of where to look for further information and advice
- be able to act as an authorising officer for the school and complete the permission to work log
